Step 4: Scaling your abstract design

Once you’re ready with your high-level design and have made sure that the interviewer is ok with it, you can dive into making it more detailed. Usually, this means making your system scale.

We’ve devoted the next section of this course to the topic of scalability. We will first cover some theoretical fundamentals, and then look at real-life examples of scalable architectures. Finally, we’ll wrap things up with several of the core principles for discussing scalability at interviews.
